East Point Horspice offers a ten week therapeutic riding session in the summer, normally beginning when school gets out. It is open to all and we encourage riders with physical or mental disabilities to experience their own brand of horsemanship.
In addition, EPH offers year-round horsemanship training and riding lessons. Following natural horsemanship and violence-free training techniques, you are encouraged to learn to play with your horse and develop a relationship with the goal of developing a willing partner. There are many excellent teachers of horsemanship available and we take great pride in our ability to learn from them and help others develop a personalized program that works for them.
Our ability to teach comes from the lessons of respected horseman like Mark Rashid, Buck Brannaman, Clinton Anderson, Pat Parelli, Mike Kevil, Ken McNabb, Tom Dorrance, Ray Hunt, Chris Cox and Rick Lamb. The journey of knowledge, we believe, has no end.
